Are your candles all natural?
Yes. Our candles are made with a 100% natural blend of soy and coconut (coco) wax. They do not contain paraffin, phthalates, synthetic dyes or harmful chemicals. All our formulations are respectful of nature and health.

What is the difference between soy and beeswax?
Soy wax is of plant origin, while beeswax is naturally produced by bees. We mix these two natural waxes in special proportions to provide a more balanced, long-lasting and healthy burning.

What is paraffin and why not use it?
Paraffin is a by-product of petroleum. Although it is cheap, it can be harmful to the environment and health. As Nature Whiff, we have adopted the principle of staying away from petrochemical products.

How do I know if a candle contains paraffin?
If the packaging does not say “100% natural wax” or “paraffin free”, there may be suspicion. As Nature Whiff, we provide transparent labeling and our ingredients are always natural.

Are your essences harmful to health?
No. All our essences are phthalate-free, IFRA certified and are derived from natural sources. They are specially formulated by chemists.

What should I pay attention to in cotton wick candles?
Cut away any black gunk that has accumulated on the wick tip. Do not move the candles while burning. Natural bending of the wick is normal; this is a self-cleaning feature.

How should I light my candles?"
Allow the melting pool to spread over the entire surface of the cup when first burning. Trim the wick to 0.5-0.7 cm before each use. Be careful not to burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

Why don't you produce candles (candlesticks) without molds?
Natural waxes have a low melting point, which means that unmoulded candles won’t hold their shape. That’s why we only use glass or ceramic containers that are safe and aesthetic.

Why are your candles colorless?
We do not use any dyes to preserve the naturalness. Some essences may cause slight color changes on the wax; this is completely natural and does not affect the quality.

How should I store candles?
A cool, dry environment away from sunlight is ideal. Due to natural ingredients, temperatures above 30°C can damage the structure of the candle.

Do you make all your own candles?
Yes. All Nature Whiff candles are produced with care and by hand casting method in our workshop in Izmir-Urla.

How strong is the scent of candles?
Our aim is to leave a fresh and natural effect in the environment. Instead of intense scents that will cause headaches, peaceful and natural aromas are preferred. We recommend more than one candle for large areas.
